Counseling

Our counseling is offered by Joseph A. Grenier, B.A., S.T.L., M.A., Ph.D.  a member of Spiritual Care Associates.

Joseph is a counselor and spiritual director here in the Pocono area.  He did his undergraduate studies in Assumption College in Massachusetts. His graduate work was done in St. Thomas Aquinas University in Rome, where he earned his S.T.L. (Licentiate in Sacred Theology. He completed his doctoral studies at Fordham University in NYC, in 1976, taking a Ph.D in Church History.  In 1995 he earned his M.A. in Counseling at Marywood, in Scranton, PA.

Over the past 46 years he has taught religion in Quebec, as well as in Massachusetts, theology at St.John's University, and Global Ministries University, has been pastor, and has worked as a spiritual director.   For the past 16 years he has been a counselor focusing on individual and couples' counseling.  He offers counseling in English, Spanish, or French.

Joseph has been married for over 27 years and has one daughter who is 25 years old.  He is a priest (ordained 1958) in the Celtic Christian Church (an Old Catholic Celtic Rite Church).  He has lived and worked in the Poconos for the past 21 years.

Counseling can help you deal with personal and inter-personal issues that are part of relationships.  If you would like to talk with Rev. Grenier about a counseling appointment, you can reach him at 570-595-2705 or 570-424-9407, or by e-mail at BishopJoe@goodtidingsministry.org.

In addition we suggest looking at New Hope Counselors as they are also available to you.  We will try to help you to connect with a counselor.
